General Election 2010: Live election leaflet monitoring

Steve Goddard set to WIN

General Election Exclusive

Steve Goddard is set to become our new local MP on Thursday, but every vote will be crucial.

Only 963 votes separate Steve Goddard and Gordon Brown's Labour MP who has let Oxford East residents down again and again.

Top bookies have declared the Conservatives and Green Party well out of the running in Oxford East at 33/1. It's clear they cannot win here. Steve Goddard said, "Everywhere I go, I meet people who feel let down by Gordon Brown and Labour. Residents tell me they like Nick Clegg's plans to make our tax system fairer and to clean up politics. They are going to make their vote count on Thursday and make sure we get real change."
